Thomson Walker Client IAS Partners Ltd. to Purchase and Redevelop Metro North Mall

Thomson Walker is pleased to announce that its client, IAS Partners Ltd., will be purchasing the Metro North Mall in Kansas City, Missouri for redevelopment. Thomson Walker will assist IAS Partners with securing incentives and working with the City of Kansas City, Missouri and various economic development entities as the project progresses. Thomson Walker has previously assisted the developer with the redevelopment of the Blue Ridge Mall and the Antioch Mall.

Independence, Missouri Developer Seeks Incentives While Raytown School District Protests

IAS Partners, LLC has requested assistance in the form of incentives from the City of Independence, Missouri, with the help of Thomson Walker, LLC. The Developer seeks to rehabilitate the former Blue Ridge Cinema property by adding retail users, including Burlington Coat Factory.

Despite protests by the Raytown School District, the Independence City Counsel approved the Developer’s request for a Tax Increment Financing Amendment.
