Thomson Walker Fights Eminent Domain in Mission Woods, Kansas

Thomson Walker has been engaged by the owners of an office building in Mission Woods, Kansas to fight an eminent domain proceeding that would condemn the building on Shawnee Mission Parkway. Sale of Kansas City’s Power and Light Building Halted

As reported on November 19th by the Kansas City Business Journal and the Kansas City Star, the contract between Gailoyd Enterprises Corporation and West Properties, Inc., as sellers, and potential buyer, Sherman Associates, Inc., for the Power and Light Building and surrounding property in Kansas City, Missouri has been terminated.  The iconic Power and Light Building and the lots encompassing the majority of the same block are back on the market and listed by Gib Kerr of Re/Max Commercial Solutions.
